Julia Schramm, geboren 1985, ist Schriftstellerin und Politikerin. Sie studierte Politikwissenschaft, Amerikanistik und öffentliches Recht an der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelm-Universität Bonn und schloss ihr Studium 2010 mit einem Magistra Artium ab.

Schramm erlangte Bekanntheit mit der Veröffentlichung ihres Buches „Klick mich“ im Jahr 2012, herausgegeben vom Knaus Verlag. 2016 folgte „50 Shades of Merkel“ bei Hoffmann und Campe. Im Jahr 2017 veröffentlichte sie „Es muss Liebe sein“ im Herzstückverlag, ein Buch, das Hassrede dokumentiert, die sie im Laufe der Jahre erlebt hat.

Von 2014 bis 2017 arbeitete Schramm bei der Amadeu Antonio Stiftung, einer gemeinnützigen Organisation, die sich gegen Rechtsextremismus und Hassrede einsetzt. In dieser Zeit trug sie aktiv zu deren Initiativen und Projekten bei.

Schramms politischer Werdegang begann 2009, als sie der Piratenpartei beitrat und bis 2014 Mitglied war. Im Jahr 2016 trat sie der Partei DIE LINKE bei und ist seither aktives Mitglied. Von 2017 bis 2024 arbeitete sie für den Fraktionsvorstand in der Bundestagsfraktion. Von 2021 bis 2022 war sie Mitglied im Parteivorstand der DIE LINKE.

Aktuell lebt und arbeitet Schramm in Berlin. Ihre Beiträge als Autorin, politische Aktivistin und Kämpferin gegen Hassrede haben sie zu einer herausragenden Persönlichkeit sowohl in der literarischen als auch in der politischen Szene in Deutschland gemacht.

Julia Schramm, born in 1985, is a writer and politician. She studied Political Science, American Studies, and Public Law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelm University in Bonn and completed her studies in 2010 with a Magistra Artium degree.

Schramm gained recognition with the publication of her book „Click Me“ in 2012, published by Knaus Verlag. In 2016, she followed up with „50 Shades of Merkel“ by Hoffmann und Campe. In 2017, she released „It Must Be Love“ through Herzstückverlag, a book documenting hate speech she has experienced over the years.

From 2014 to 2017, Schramm worked at the Amadeu Antonio Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to combating right-wing extremism and hate speech. During this time, she actively contributed to their initiatives and projects.

Schramm’s political career began in 2009 when she joined the Pirate Party and served as a until 2014. In 2016, she joined the Left Party (Die Linke) and has been an active member ever since. From 2017 to 2024, she worked for the parliamentary group leadership in the German Bundestag. She was also a member of the party executive board of Die Linke from 2021 to 2022.

Currently, Schramm lives and works in Berlin. Her contributions as a writer, political activist, and fighter against hate speech have made her a prominent figure in both the literary and political scenes in Germany.
